Follow Hiway US321 toward the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Turn right toward Laurel Valley Country Club, then right on third driveway onto White Oak Lane. A large "Rustling Pines" sign is located just before White Oak Lane. The Gingerbread Cottage is the second house on the right. A sign marking Gingerbread House is in the yard. If you are coming from the south side of Townsend through the Smokies, drive to the far north end of Townsend toward Maryville. Turn left on Old Tuckaleechee Rd. after Back Porch Restaurant toward Laurel Valley. The cottage is located at 116 White Oak Lane.
